FAQ's

What information should be on a dog tag?

The Control of Dogs Order 1992 requires the owners name and address (including postcode) should be on the pet tag when out in public. We also recommend a contact number. Read our blog 'What information should I put on my dog tag' for more information.

How do I put a dog tag on?

Each dog collar tag comes with three free split rings to easily attach the dog tag to the dogs collar. Alternatively, we supply trigger hooks to attach to the dogs collar (50p each)

Do you have waterproof pet tags?

We supply waterproof dog tags that don't rust or wear away. Your dog can play in the sea, pool or rain or have a bath and the contact details on your dog tag won't wear away.

Do you have the strongest pet tags?

Yes! Unlike engraved pet tags, our pet tags are made using our signature print and dome technique. They are the UK's strongest pet tags. Our unique resin domes keep your important contact details save from any scratches and we only use the strongest stainless steel metal so the dog tag doesn't snap off the dogs collar.

Why does my Dog need an ID tag?

Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, all dogs in England, Scotland and Wales must wear a collar and identity tag in a public place.

What information should I put on my dog tag?

By law, your dog tag should display the owner's name, 1st line of the address, postcode and telephone number (advisable).
